- Area of Accountability No.1: Technical Support

Provide efficient and effective technical support

Main activities:

- Provide support to animal health professionals and product users with suspect adverse events or QA issues in line with company policies and procedures in order to achieve a satisfactory resolution.

Expected results:
_To support the use of Virbac products and deliver high levels of customer service, whilst ensuring the promulgation of accurate information and ethical advice at all times in line with the RCVS Code of Conduct, the Veterinary Medicines Regulations and Virbac policies and procedures_

Area of Accountability No.2: Pharmacovigilance

Implements Virbac’s pharmacovigilance procedures and monitors regulatory matters with the national veterinary drug

agency

Main activities:

- As the named Deputy Qualified Person for Pharmacovigilance, meticulously maintain and execute pharmacovigilance procedures in accordance with internal and external regulations/guidelines under the direction of the Head of Technical & Regulatory Affairs and the Group pharmacovigilance department.
- Collect, analyse and integrate pharmacovigilance data, ensuring reporting deadlines are always met, in close cooperation with head office colleagues, third party suppliers and customers

_ To ensure that pharmacovigilance procedures are meticulously executed in line with internal & external guidelines and to maintain trust in Virbac products_

Area of Accountability No.3: Regulatory Affairs

Diligently execute the duties of named Deputy Qualified Person (QP)

Main activities:

- As the named Deputy Qualified Person (QP) deputise for the Head of Technical & Regulatory Affairs to ensure the safe control of our veterinary medicines and compliance with all GDP and GMP activities
- Review and approve product packaging, product insert leaflets and associated materials for regulatory- compliance in liaison with head office colleagues, third party suppliers and customers
- Maintain compliance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and the Quality Management System (QMS)
- Support the regulatory training of Virbac employees
- Ensure product materials are kept up to date and consistent with the current product SPCs

Expected results:
_ To ensure regulatory compliance in all areas of responsibility and to create the conditions for_
- developing a relationship of trust with national regulatory agencies_

Area of Accountability No.4: Commercial Support

Main activities:

- Provide efficient and effective scientific and technical support to the sales and marketing teams in order to collaboratively achieve commercial objectives and maximise the potential of the product portfolio
- Work in collaboration with the marketing team to provide veterinary expertise in the creation of marketing strategies and communications
- Review and approve marketing materials and communications to ensure compliance with the NOAH Code of
- Practice for the Promotion of Animal Medicines, the Veterinary Medicine Regulations (VMRs) and any other applicable legislation
- Provide engaging product and disease training to internal teams
- Provide technical and product support to veterinary professionals, professional keepers of animals and pet owners, ensuring that processes are continually optimised to deliver the highest levels of service and customer satisfaction, maintaining Virbac's reputation as a partner of choice in our industry

Area of Accountability No.5: Veterinary Medicine & Market Knowledge

Main activities:

- Maintain a knowledge resource of competitive products and relevant comparisons to Virbac products which can be leveraged to provide commercial gain
- Monitor and identify advancements/trends in veterinary medicine which can be leveraged into product opportunities

Expected results:
_ To ensure that Virbac operates on a basis of sound and credible veterinary knowledge_

Educational level or equivalent experience: Degree in veterinary science
