Over the past 50 years, we’ve grown to become a leader in the private label market. The role is located at our Driffield site on Kellythorpe Industrial Estate.

**Job Overview**: As a trainee extrusion operative you will be making our product by being the 'owner' of an extrusion line in a fast paced manufacturing environment. You will need to respond to machine stoppages, identifying and correcting issues where possible. You will need to perform various checks and be responsible for all of our products being produced to the highest level of quality.

We produce various products so you will learn how to set up machinery, including setting up different dyes, cleaning down machinery, and analysing problems that may occur during production. You will also be involved in the accurate labelling of the products ready for packing.

**The Person**: You will need to be comfortable working in a dynamic, high pressured environment. This a role in a production factory so you will nee to be resilient to working in a sometimes humid and noisy environment.

Ideally you would have a valid FLT licence although full training will be given if required.

In addition to development and training you will receive a starting salary of £10.97 per hour increasing to £12.99 once training is completed.

Overtime is paid at time and a half, you can receive a yearly attendance bonus, a monthly tonnage incentive payment as well as overtime paid on the 15 minute pre shift handover.

Plus company sick pay [where eligible], life insurance to the equivalent of 4x basic salary plus a generous holiday entitlement.

**Shift Pattern**: Averages at 42 hours per week, Monday to Sunday days to nights over a 4 week period working 6am - 6pm and 6pm to 6am travelling only 7 shifts over a 14 day period with three paid 20 minute breaks each shift.

**Salary**: £23,958.00-£28,370.00 per year
