Front-of-House staff required, immediate start available, £10 per hour + tips. Full-Time, Part-Time, various shift patterns available over 5-day week (including weekends) for our Front of House Staff. At The Sun Inn, Feering we are recruiting for full-time Front-of-House to join our busy, but cosy village pub situated in the beautiful Essex countryside (CO5 9NH). Our customers are greeted with a warm welcome by our friendly team and enjoy a range of locally sourced guest ales and freshly prepared seasonal food, and we are looking to add to our team. As part of our Front of House/Bar Staff team ideally you will have had previous experience in a busy bar. - Have a happy and welcoming demeaner - Excellent communicative and customer care skills - Have had experience in Cocktails and Coffee preparation - Energetic, punctual, and reliable with a pro-active approach to your work - Wine knowledge is preferable as we have an extensive wine list - Bar serving and waiting service experience - Delivering exceptional food and beverage service - Hosting - Developing and maintaining standards - Driving sales through product knowledge and recommendation - Identifying the needs of our guests - Maximising sales opportunities where possible - Enhancing the guests experience through exceeding expectations every time - Cash handling and order processing - Understanding and maintaining excellent health & safety within your work area What we offer: - Tronc scheme (tips). - Rota two weeks in advance. - 28 days holiday (pro-rata). - An employer who promotes a healthy work/life balance. - Free, freshly cooked staff meals on duty over 8 hours. - Salary: £10.00 - 10.50 per hour. **>> IMPORTANT INFORMATION**: - You must be able to drive or walk to Sun Inn, Feering Hill, Feering, CO5 9NH. - You must be able to work evening and weekends. - You must be able to work Bank Holiday Monday. **HOW YOU JOIN** Once we have a vacant position, we request you send your CV and a covering letter stating why you would like to work with us and what you can to contribute to our business. We then invite you in for an interview/assessment/trial which generally takes around 2 hours. During this time, you will have the chance to ask us as many questions as you like so come prepared. During the assessment/trial section, depending on your position, we will be looking for people to have energy, initiative, awareness, and personality. You will spend a minimum of 6 shifts as an extra while you learn the basics of your role.
