**About The Role**:
**Days of Working**:Generally the shift is Monday to Friday 11:30 to 19:30, but can be changed

Are you passionate about providing excellent service and making a difference in people's lives? Join our dedicated team as a General Catering Assistant at one of our esteemed NHS healthcare providers.

As a General Catering Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and timely preparation, delivery, and quality service of all food and beverages to our patients, clients, and guests.

**As part of your role, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to**:

- Ensure that Patient and clients receive a prompt and courteous service at all times.
- Maintain Contract health and safety, and hygiene standards and appropriate documentation following current legislation and company standards.
- Preparation of sandwiches, salads and beverages as required.
- Receive, check, sort and store Supplier products as directed.
- Prepare Food service area to the standard laid out by the management.
- Washing up, general tidying, removal of waste and used crockery/cutlery to be expected along with keeping the work area and kitchen to the highest cleanliness standards.
- Must have Right to Work in the UK
- Food Hygiene Certificate and Health & Safety Training qualification - (desirable as training can be provided).
- Practical food handling experience, preferably from within a Healthcare background.
- Willing and able to work shifts (including nights, week days, weekends, Bank Holidays) on any of the Trust Sites.
- Understanding of HACCP & COSHH.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
