The Cornish Arms is looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter to join our busy, friendly kitchen team. No experience? No problem — if you’re eager to learn and have a strong work ethic, we’ll provide all the training you need.

What We Offer:

- Part-time position with regular hours:

- Monday-Friday: 6p-close
- Weekends: 9a-4pm - 5pm-close
- Full training provided - no experience necessary
- Generous hourly pay (rate negotiated based on age and experience)
- 50% staff discount at The Cornish Arms (Tavistock) and The Blacksmiths Arms (Lamerton)

Your Responsibilities:

- Wash plates, cutlery, utensils, and kitchen equipment
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness, including surfaces and appliances
- Support the kitchen and front-of-house teams with general tasks
- Take pride in a clean, well-run kitchen

- Someone who’s punctual, reliable, and takes pride in doing a good job
- No prior experience needed — just a great attitude and willingness to learn
