**ABOUT US**

Established 30 years ago, Turning Tides is a multifunctional, complex-needs homelessness charity. Our mission is to end local homelessness.

We have gone from supporting a handful of people in the coastal town of Worthing to providing a range of services to over 1,700 people in Worthing, Adur, Littlehampton, Horsham and Mid Sussex. We have over 10,000 supporters, 300 volunteers and 160 staff members to date.

Turning Tides Recovery Project in Worthing is a unique 28-bed CQC registered residential service for adults experiencing homelessness and drug and/or alcohol addictions and we are passionate about giving individuals an opportunity to make positive changes.

***THE ROLE**

The Recovery Group Work Co-ordinator will be responsible for developing, delivering and coordinating a range of Recovery focused group work sessions to clients residing at the Recovery Project.

Group work sessions will evolve and change on a rolling basis according to individual client and group needs through feedback and co-production of the programme as well as incorporating a global recovery agenda that includes health and well-being.

The group work sessions will aim to empower clients to develop their own recovery capital, building on individual strengths and supporting them to broaden and reinforce their recovery support network within the wider community.

The role will involve a level of co-ordination of volunteers and partner agencies to support the facilitation of groups.

**About You**
- You will be an enthusiastic and inspirational individual.
- You will have an in-depth knowledge of addiction and relapse management.
- You will have good knowledge and experience of group work facilitation.
- You will have a broad range of therapeutic and engagement skills.
- You will be able to work independently and as part of a team.
