We are looking for a dynamic, customer focussed individual to be part of our Service Delivery Apprentice team. You will have the opportunity to both work in and learn about a variety of Council Services delivered by our casework teams including Revenues and benefits, Environmental Health or Housing. Experience in any of these areas would be desirable however what is essential is that you have:

- A strong customer focus
- A positive “can do” attitude to help us deliver the highest standards of service to our customers
- Good IT skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly
- Attention to detail, with good levels of accuracy

**About this role**
As a Service Delivery Apprentice, you will be responsible for:
Undertake straightforward customer casework, developing customer service skills, increasing knowledge and skills over time. As well as the following.
- Delivering excellent customer service (Both internal and external)
- Ensuring strict confidentiality is maintained, and data protection rules are followed
- Promoting and Supporting Customer Self Service where appropriate

**About the Qualification**
Customer Service Practitioner Apprenticeship Standard at Level 2
Our learning provider is Career Track which is one of our partners as well as they are based within Tendring district Council
The Customer Service Practitioner Apprenticeship at Level 2 is a qualification that combines the knowledge, skills and behaviours required of the standard and includes functional skills in maths and English.
Delivery will be in the workplace with an assessor or coach through a combination of assessing, coaching, training and mentoring.
The minimum duration on the apprenticeship is 12 months, with an additional 3 months for an externally assessed end point assessment. A total of 15 months plus functional skills if required.
