**Advanced Scaffolding Inspector**

**Description**

We are looking to expand and currently have roles available as Health & Safety Advisors, CDM Advisors and Scaffold Inspectors. If you have experience and the appropriate skill set required please feel free to apply.

MUST BE BASED IN THE UK.

Scaffolding inspection duties will include weekly scaffolding checks and pre-hand over inspections to ensure scaffolding compliance. As a site based Health and Safety Advisor / Scaffolding Inspector you will be accountable for promoting safe and healthy working practices and for monitoring the implementation of policy and procedures across your section.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Scaffolding inspection duties will include weekly scaffolding checks and pre-hand over inspections to ensure scaffolding compliance.
- To maintain the business health and safety management system
- To provide Senior Management with advice to ensure that the business continues to be compliant with the requirements
- To act as the management representative when dealing with external surveillance / auditing bodies in relation to all of the standards
- To act as the competent Health and Safety advisor and to ensure that legal compliance is maintained
- Liaise with external bodies, including regulatory bodies such as HSE in matters that have a bearing on the operational function of the business.
- To collate information on a monthly basis regarding accidents, incidents, production output and credits, and to present them to the Senior Management team and Divisional Managers as required.
- Develop and maintain the Health and Safety plans for the sites to ensure continual improvement

**You will work closely with the site team with your key areas of responsibility being**:

- Advise managers and supervisors at project sites, depots and offices of statutory health and safety requirements -Provide assistance in the preparation of risk assessments and in the development of project management plans -Provide support with respect to the principal contractor’s duties under CDM -Regularly inspect project work locations and activities -Identify hazards and risk -Verify that temporary works procedures are implemented safely -Submit inspection reports to the Agent with copies to the relevant business unit manager and health and safety manager -Monitor subcontractors during site visits to ensure that safe systems of work are being followed.

**Skills and Qualifications required**:

- CISRS Advanced Inspection (or similar
- As a minimum must hold a NEBOSH general certificate and construction certificate
- Consultancy experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent planning, organisational, training, teamwork and presentation skills
- Excellent literacy, numeric and IT skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Full, clean driving license
- Flexibility in line with business requirements
- Ability to represent the company in a professional manner at all times

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £40,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
