**We are seeking an experienced Head of Finance to ensure the smooth running of our finance department and effective delivery of our ambitious Diocesan vision.**

You will lead the finance team and manage the day-to-day accounting function.

You will ensure that we have effective procedures in place, that we fulfil our statutory responsibilities and that we deliver against our financial commitments.

**You will be responsible for**:

- Developing and implementing our financial policy and strategy
- Supporting Ministry Areas in developing effective stewardship plans and financial management, whilst fulfilling their charitable objectives.
- Building excellent relationships to provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.

**Salary**: £40,000 - £49,000 (FTE) This is currently a part-time, permanent post at 0.8 FTE (30 hours per week). However there is scope for negotiation as regards these hours.
