**Job Introduction**

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced **Healthcare Assistant/Phlebotomist** to join our small and friendly nursing team at the Hereward Practice providing high quality care for our patients.

We are looking for a **Healthcare Assistant/Phlebotomist**, preferably with experience of Primary Care or the NHS, who will work **25 hours a week over Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday** with the possibility of extra hours to help cover annual leave/sick leave.

General HCA clinics can be extremely varied, from babies and young children to the elderly, and our staff need excellent communication skills with a caring and compassionate nature to be able to deal with whoever is booked into the clinic.

A Healthcare Assistant needs to be flexible and adaptable, with the ability to remain calm under pressure and be professional at all times.

**About the Team**

Here at the **Hereward Practice**, we aim to provide the best care and service to our patients in a busy department. We are a small, friendly reception team who work hard to ensure patients’ needs are met adequately.

The practice has a list size of over 12,000 patients and our treatment rooms are always busy, therefore experience of working within a fast-paced NHS environment would be advantageous.

Our interview process will aim to meet you in person however some interviews may be carried out virtually.
