**Role: Software Engineer**
**Location: Remote (Within the UK)**
**Salary: £45,000 + Flex**
TEC Partners are working with a rapidly expanding technology company that develops an innovative cloud-based SaaS platform going from strength to strength. In this role you will work within a small agile team across all aspects of the software developmentlifecycle from design, development, testing, delivery and maintenance of the platform. The business working within a strong agile led environment, delivering 2-week sprint cycles, utilising CI/CD and TDD within a continuous improvement mindset.
We're looking for a 'full-stack' software engineer with a 'back-end' bias. The role is almost language agnostic; however you'll need to have good coding practice, and familiarity working within a modern agile environment.
The role represents and opportunity to get exposure to different challenges and the latest technologies, making sure that you continue to challenge yourself, and further progress your development skills.
**Skills + experiences**:
- Ideally, 2+ commercial years of experience working with a 'strongly typed' language.
- Experience working with TDD
- Experience working with a CI/CD pipeline
- Ideally Golang and JavaScript experience (but if not - Rust, Python, Swift, Java, C, C# or PHP)
- Experience working on a software platform, ideally SaaS, or cloud-based software.
- Strong JavaScript experience - any experience with Typescript is a bonus.
**Responsibilities**:
- Collaborating with stakeholders to support with the delivery of features, troubleshooting any issues with the platform and discussing potential enhancements.
- Building new features for internal and external users.
- Supporting with the inception of new features.
- Working with the product owner and development team to break work down into small deliverables for estimation and prioritisation.
- Supporting any enhancements to the development and deployment pipelines.
- Upholding high engineering standards, always leaving the codebase in a better position than you found it.
