**We are currently recruiting for Bank Support Workers to join our Support Services Team in Belfast**

Project base: Housing Support Services (Belfast)

Hours of work for this role:

- 12-hour Day and Night Shifts Available
- 8am - 8pm & 8pm - 8am x 7 days per week

Bank Support Workers will be expected to work at least 1 shift per week but can work up to 4/5 shifts per week if available.

Preferred shifts will be taken into consideration according to applicants availability but there may be times you will be required to work shifts to meet the needs of the service.

**Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities**
- To provide Housing related support to assist clients live independently in the community. (This will not include personal care tasks).
- To be available to work at times appropriate to the changing needs of the client and for the efficient use of staff resources
- To assist in the assessment of needs and risks as relevant to each Client and to assist to set and attain realistic and achievable targets
- To monitor and record the client’s progress and support tasks delivered during shift.
- To provide a range of services appropriate to the individuals needs
- To assist Clients develop the skills needed to attain, maintain and sustain stable tenancies
- To promote Client involvement and active participation in the service.
- To work in a multi-agency manner with relevant professionals
- To act as an advocate for Clients as appropriate

**What we need from you;**
- Minimum of one years’ work experience, working within housing, social care or equivalent setting with Vulnerable Clients (Young People, Children or Adults)
- Knowledge of Safeguarding issues, practices, and procedures
- Able to demonstrate good communication skills
- Able to demonstrate good recording and reporting skills
- Proven ability to effectively support and work as a member of a team
- Good understanding of health & safety
- Able to demonstrate a good level of IT literacy
- Strong commitment to quality assurance, continuous improvement and the delivery of best practice
- Able to demonstrate flexibility, self-motivation, confidence and ability to use initiative
- Good organisational skills
- Able to be flexible on approach to work and adaptable to change.
- Ability to work flexible hours when required
- Full EU Driving Licence preferred but not essential
