CNC Milling Programmer - Thirsk, North Yorkshire

Join our expanding team in Thirsk and work with a forward-thinking company specialising in high-precision automotive manufacturing.

**Position Details**:

- **Location**: Thirsk, North Yorkshire
- **Salary**: £40,000 - £50,000 per year (depending on experience)
- **Employment Type**: Full-time, permanent
- **Working Hours**: Day shifts

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Program CNC milling machines, primarily HAAS, using HyperMill and Fusion 360 software
- Set up, calibrate, and operate CNC machinery effectively
- Accurately interpret engineering drawings and 3D CAD models
- Conduct in-process inspections to ensure quality standards are maintained
- Work closely with production and engineering teams to ensure smooth workflow

**What We’re Looking For**:

- Proven experience programming CNC milling machines, preferably HAAS
- Skilled in CAD/CAM software such as HyperMill and/or Fusion 360
- Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and 3D models
- In-depth knowledge of machining processes, tolerances, and industry best practices
- Exceptional attention to detail and a strong dedication to quality
