As a Shift Manager at Papa John's, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store during your shift. You will lead a team of pizza makers, delivery drivers, and customer service representatives to ensure the highest quality of service and product delivery to our customers.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage and supervise all aspects of the store during scheduled shifts.
- Ensure that all team members adhere to Papa John's operational and food safety standards.
- Manage, maintain, and report daily stock of all food and beverage items and ensure that food deliveries are correctly checked and stored.
- Controlling costs on a daily basis to impact the profitability of the store
- Maintaining a positive brand image and service standards including uniform/presentation standards and our philosophy on customer service.
- Train and develop team members to deliver exceptional customer service and product quality.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Assist with scheduling and labour management to ensure adequate staffing levels.
- Drive sales by promoting Papa John's products and services.
- Uphold Papa John's brand standards and values at all times.
- Perform opening and closing duties as required.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Managing of KPI compliance.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role, preferably in the food service industry.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Basic math skills and ability to handle cash transactions.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays as needed.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
- Food Safety Certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: Up to £11.75 per hour
