My client, based in Woking, Surrey, design and manufacture a range of complex electronic products that are used all over the world and are now looking for a Software Manager - Electronics.
- Lead, manage and develop a team the software engineering team
- Develop detailed software requirements specifications for new product developments
- Take ownership and drive ongoing refinement of software development standards, processes, tools and development environments
- Ensure that software solutions integrate at a systems level and are delivered to agreed scope, schedule and budget.
- Act as Scrum Master of an Agile team.
Some of the essential and beneficial skills and experience required for this Software Manager - Electronics role include:

- Significant experience working in a product development environment
- Previous experience of managing a software development team
- Degree qualified in relevant discipline and likely to have achieved an MSc (or similar) in a related area
- Experience of developing software deliverables to a detailed specification in a commercial market.
- Experience of managing the full product lifecycle
- Be able to interface with suppliers, partners and customers.
- Experience of operating in ISO9001 environments and to industry specific standards.
