Your tasks The Feature Owner is responsible for taking a feature view while performing the systems engineering based development of the feature under consideration of the following points: - Ensure feature meets customer expectations - Define vehicle level requirements of the feature - Feature design needs to fit into the vehicles and intended design, including affects on vehicle attributes and constraints from vehicle systems / components - Identify components that are needed to implement the feature and features requirements impacts on each of the components - Ensure alignment of developed feature and the target vehicle program(s), including timing and organizational Roles and & Responsibilities - Ensure feature verification to meet defined requirements at the vehicle, system, subsystem, and / or component level of implementation - Forecasts possible issues of the fielded feature and evolves over time - The feature owner would also be responsible for - Maintain all Feature Owner documents (Feature Document, Hazard Analysis & Risk Assessment, Functional Safety Concept, Safety Requirement Specification, Cyber security, Safety Verification & validation, Feature service impact, feature financials and Software Safety Specification). - Manage Feature and Program deliverables in JIRA and relevant SharePoint - Core and Application Feature Owner Services - Keeping the Feature Systems Engineering Supervisor informed on progress regularly, and escalating issues in a timely manner. - Participating in team meetings with the wider team, to maintain a collaborative environment **Profile**: - Degree in Automotive/ Electrical Engineering - Automotive experience in feature specification development - Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) to define and communicate features specification in a clear and concise manner to all stakeholders - Highly proactive working approach to tackle complex interdependent teams - In-depth knowledge of Quality Documents (DFMEA, LFMA, and boundary diagrams) - Functional knowledge electrical module design, networking, wiring, power distribution, chassis systems, lighting systems, etc. - Electrical Systems Engineering experience including understanding of systems engineering V model - Electrical D&R experience - Electrical testing experience **Offer**: What we offer: - A competitive salary package with annual "Value Sharing Bonus" paid to all employees. - A generous contributory pension scheme. - Healthcare cash back scheme. - 33 Days holiday - Employee discounts on Continental tyres and other products. - Death in service insurance. - Free on-site parking. - Flexible working. - On-going training and excellent personal development opportunities. - Birthdays off - Discount on gym membership for you and our partner - Free Thrive app access - Workwear provided - Cycle to work Scheme - Purchase more holiday days About us The ContiTech business area focuses on smart and sustainable solutions beyond rubber and develops digital and intelligent solutions in future-oriented sectors.
