Warehouse Sortation Operative

This Job role is for a self employed Warehouse Operatives. Under this role you will responsible for the loading and unloading of vehicles, plus the sorting and scanning of parcels into cages. You must be physically fit and comfortable using safe, manual-handling techniques.

Team work will be key as you will be working with a team to achieve the daily goals.
You’ll use hand held scanners and work with a systems that will allow you to see how many parcels have been scanned and how many is expected daily. You'll then sort them into collars smaller areas and postcodes.
At times, you'll have to deal with large volumes of parcels however you will be given space to get the work done, thinking quickly to hit moving targets.

- Comply with health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment
- Work efficiently and effectively as part of a team
- Physical fitness
- Must have driving licence or way of transport due to working hours can vary from 3AM (where most public transport won’t be running)
- Be punctual & reliable
- Can perform under pressure & good time keeping

Job Roles available:
Full-time, part time with either Permanent or temporary

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 30 per week

**Salary**: £7.28-£12.00 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

- Night shift
- Overtime
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Uckfield, East Sussex: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Warehouse experience: 1 year (preferred)
