Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Translator/Interpreter to join our team. As a Translator/Interpreter, you will play a crucial role in facilitating effective communication between individuals who speak different languages. This position requires excellent language skills and the ability to accurately convey information from one language to another.

**Responsibilities**:

- Interpret spoken conversations, meetings, and conferences in real-time, video links, transcripts,
- Provide accurate and culturally appropriate translations
- Assist with language-related tasks, such as proofreading and editing translated materials
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional standards and ethics
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth communication

**Skills**:

- Proficient in English and at least one other language (Bilingual or Multilingual)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages
- Strong knowledge of grammar, vocabulary, and cultural nuances in both languages
- Ability to quickly understand and interpret complex information
- Attention to detail and accuracy in translation
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Qualifications required:
**Level 3 Certificate in Community Interpreting or **DPI, DPSI or hold a Language based Degree.

Minimum of 1 year in a similar role

Must be willing to get DBS

Pay: £25.00-£28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 per week
