Due to a significant increase in workload, we are now recruiting the position of Finance Officer within the finance function. As the Finance Officer you will be responsible for working with the FD to transform the finance and commercial delivery models and continuously seek to improve services provided to internal customers. You will assist the FD in ensuring financial stability, working alongside the FD on our strategic financial planning, risk management, audit insights and investment governance.
To be successful, you will need to have a real appreciation of operational delivery, and what it takes to deliver support services that enable the business to work brilliantly - and so, do the best for our customers. You will be committed to delivering better, faster and greater value, with an improvement mindset, always looking to learn from others and push the boundaries of what’s possible to get the best outcome. You will work with the FD and senior management to help us understand future revenue and cost projections, working with operational teams to help us model different future scenarios. You will need to be curious and outward-facing, whilst also making sure you remain inspired to perform at your best.

**Role Overview**
Please note that different roles within our organisation offer different areas of responsibility. Your role will include (but it is not limited to):
- Assisting with budget preparation
- Managing daily payments, records & receipts
- Bank reconciliations
- Preparing financial and management information
- Working with the operational teams to assist them in understanding their financial information
- Manage sales ledger and support with credit control
- Manage the company’s financial system
- Project costing
- Assisting in the implementation of financial IT systems
- Assisting the FD with other ad-hoc tasks
- Have experience of operating in a commercial environment
- Have exceptional attention to detail
- Have excellent time management & prioritisation skills
- Well developed & demonstratable problem solving skills
- Have an excellent can-do attitude
- Have the ability to liaise with stakeholder management at all levels effectively
- 3+ years in a similar role
- Financial Qualifications to AAT Advanced Level or equivalent.

**Salary**: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
