**Overview of role**

The role of the Group RFP Business Support Executive will work the Global & National Account Management teams on all RFP and client proposals. Meet RFP deadlines by establishing priorities and target dates for information gathering, writing, review, andapproval; entering and monitoring tracking data; coordinating requirements with contributors; contributing proposal status information to review meeting; transmitting proposals

This role will successfully communicate and collaborate with a variety of internal stakeholders including, Global & National Account Teams, Hotel Director of Sales, Regional Sales Managers and Group Revenue thus is a highly visible role.

The position involves researching, writing, and producing a high volume of client-facing documentation on behalf of our company in support of our brands and locations.

**Key Duties & Objectives**
- Work with National & Global Sales Team to identify & secure new and unsolicited opportunities for both existing and new opening hotels.
- Work with hotels in creating business cases and build relationships with TMC sourcing teams.
- Create a group database of rates, providing detailed rate management.
- Provide dedicated Sales Support for Rate loading and the link between Sales and Revenue Teams - loading rates and RFP visibility checks.
- Manage hotel content on Lanyon profiles and ensure that GBTA formats are updated regularly and in line with ESG strategies.
- Work with sales, legal and finance teams to understand customer needs and develop strategy for the proposal response.
- Ownership of the RFP project timeline from beginning to end
- Work effectively with internal stakeholders to develop consistent compelling responses to satisfy proposal requirements
- Continual review of RFP tools and intermediaries, this includes updating functional, technical and company information.
- Coordinate final production and delivery of complete RFP response
- Maintain quality results by using templates; following proposal-writing standards including readability, consistency, and tone; maintaining proposal support databases
- Improve the proposal-writing processes by providing and implementing innovative ideas to maximize efficiency and effectiveness of RFP responses

**Experience Required**
- Excellent writing and editing skills
- Works well with highly structured timelines and deadlines
- Capacity to be responsible, flexible, accountable and detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task, adapt and prioritize to meet deadlines
- Ability to perform and deliver multiple projects on time
- Works well in a team environment
- Strong listening skills and overall communication skills, both written and verbal
- Knowledge and understanding of Software as a Service and Information Technology strongly preferred
- Ability to aggregate information to be written in clear, concise formats
- Professionally communicate with all levels of personnel within the organization and with external clients and partners
- Deliver results that are clear, accurate, technically correct and achieve messaging objectives
