**Tester Hybrid Glasgow £310 Inside** **Per day**

Our Public Sector client is looking for a Tester to join their team on a 10-week contract. The role requires two days a week onsite and I looking for someone to start ASAP.
- Create detailed test scripts from functional specifications, requirements documents and/or technical design documents to industry standards.
- Identify test data and conditions.
- Review technical documentation and requirements analysis.
- Design and run automated test scripts using automated tools
- Design and run manual test scripts
- Perform complex analysis to determine the source of issue and possible solutions.
- Use of JIRA for test case and defect management

**Essential Skills,**
- ISEB Foundation Certificate in Software Testing Qualification or equivalent practical experience in this field
- 3 to 5 years' experience in the software systems development life cycle
- Prior exposure to end-to-end testing of systems and integrations at a high level of complexity
- Proven track record working in a quality environment
- An ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Ability to communicate well (written and verbal) with relevant presentation skills
- Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines in a time constrained environment.
- Flexible approach to work, with a commitment to deliver.
- Desirable Skills (where appropriate)
- Experience of delivering testing strategies, supported by strong analytical skills
- Knowledge of automated testing techniques
- Knowledge of industry standard testing techniques
