Beeston Shenton Solicitors is seeking an enthusiastic, organised, and personable individual to join our team as a New Business Assistant. This person will be responsible for carrying out the initial administrative functions of onboarding new clients from the point of first contact until handover to a Case Handler within the department.

**Qualifications**
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with an exceptional telephone manner.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

**Job Duties Include**:

- Provide general administrative support to the Property Team as needed.
- Take calls from clients, issue quotes via our portal and convert leads to verified instructions.
- Opening files for new instructions and issuing initial paperwork to clients and other party Solicitors.
- Taking card payments and ordering searches and ID checks.
- Assisting with client questions and concerns at the initial stages of the transaction.
- Assisting with file progression on a timely and effective basis and in accordance with professional standards, internal procedures, key dates, and milestones.
- Answer phones, take messages, and direct calls to appropriate individuals or departments as needed.
