Animal Care and Sales Assistant

We have an exciting sales assistant position at Lincoln reptile & pet centre. This is a great opportunity to work in a fast paced, exciting reptile specialist. Work with a large range of different reptiles and tarantulas the job role encompasses everything from animal cleanliness and enclosure maintenance, handling, feeding, paperwork and admin and confidently selling a large and varying selection of reptiles and tarantulas in a fast paced but fun expanding business.
This would be a very rewarding and exciting career for the right applicant who is bright, approachable with a flexible attitude towards work. KNOWLEDGE AND NO FEAR OF REPTILES IS ESSENTIAL. You will have to complete yearly training and also be placed on paid for reptile care courses.
It is essential that you are a team player and are also able to work under your own initiative. Communication and customer service is the foundation of our business and our success and the successful applicant it would be expected to help build upon this.
Flexibility would be required as we are open 7 days a week, with weekend working being expected. A 5 week rolling rota system is in place. You will also be required to cover other staff holidays, sickness & maternity
