Cafe Assistant

Responsibilities:

- Assist in the daily operations of the cafe, including food preparation and serving customers.
- Take customer orders and handle cash transactions accurately.
- Prepare and serve a variety of food and beverages, such as coffee, sandwiches, and pastries.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe, including cleaning tables, counters, and equipment.
- Ensure food safety standards are followed at all times.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and efficient service.
- Follow established procedures for opening and closing the cafe.

**Requirements**:

- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating order totals.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely service to customers.
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £6.40-£11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 4 - 16 per week
