**About the role**:
If you love gardens, you will know they need a lot of care and attention. In this role you will be helping with everyday practical tasks to keep centre gardens looking their best.
**Activities may include**:

- Clearing overgrown areas or developing sensory sections in the garden
- Engaging in general garden maintenance tasks such as weeding, hedge cutting, raking, and deadheading
- Planting flowers, plants, or vegetables
- Sweeping paths and removing leaves to maintain a clean and tidy garden environment
- Help with planning and development of our outdoor spaces[TC1]

**How often we would like your support**:
Ideally, we hope you would volunteer every week or fortnight; however, all our roles are flexible, and times should be agreed with your local centre.

- A basic knowledge of plants
- The patience and ability to work in varying weather conditions
- Reliability and trustworthiness
