**Job Title**:Employment Bureau Events Officer**
**Contract: Full Time, Fixed term until 07/22**
**Salary**:£21426 - 23327 per annum **pro rata**
**Location**:Cardiff and Vale**

Cardiff and Vale College are looking for an Events Coordinator based within our City Centre Campus but with the expectation to cover other campuses as and when needed.

Responsibilities include:

- To liaise with HoD’s, Team manager, Course tutors, Career Coaches and Employment Officer to plan and implement jobs fairs and other events that will be of benefit and increase opportunity awareness amongst learners.
- To engage employers to promote CAVC and to develop sustainable working partnerships to generate meaningful and effective events that are of benefit to learners and employers
- To work closely with the Employment Officer and support functions of the employment bureau.
- To proactively seek out opportunities to work with partners and develop links to raise the profile and effectiveness of employment bureau.
- Support website content creation and development including the development of online event activities

Registration with the Educational Workforce Council for Wales (EWC Wales) is a mandatory requirement of the post
