PMP Utilities, part of MGroup Services, has been working safely for utility’s companies since 1993, providing specialist engineering and confined space rescue.

We are recruiting for a Planning Coordinator to work from our Burnley office. This is a fast-paced, dynamic, role, which is key to the smooth running of a busy and expanding business. Your priority will be to ensure the right people are in the right place at the right time with the necessary equipment and documentation for the job.

**As a Planning Coordinator your responsibilities will include**:

- Ensure that the planning board is updated with all employee data, sites, contract numbers and available vehicles
- Allocate appropriate resources, including labour and vehicles, by liaising with the operational teams and client
- Organise weekly planning meetings with the operational teams to gain knowledge of the short and long term requirement
- Liaise with SHEQ department to ensure RAMS are prioritised and available for start of jobs
- Maintain Contract Pipeline for the Field Team Leaders, ensuring ownership of contracts
- Liaise with specialist subcontractors
- Maintain training records via the employee training database
- Maintain the equipment database with all relevant certificates, service records and invoices
- Contribute to the team by sharing information, supporting and assisting colleagues in a proactive manner to meets goals and deadlines

**Skills & Knowledge Requirements**:

- Educated to minimum A Level, ideally graduate level
- Excellent organisation skills with an ability to prioritise work within agreed deadlines
- Ability to be flexible and think quickly to solve any problems as they arise
- Proven track record in building relationships with a range of stakeholders
- Ability to work in a busy dynamic environment whilst managing multiple tasks
- Effective communication skills with the ability to deal with potential conflicts of interest
- Teamwork and the ability to quickly build rapport at all levels will be key to the success of this role
- Knowledge of the Water Industry is preferable
