**What we need you to do**:
As their Bookkeeper / financial administrator, you will contribute to the success of the Company by ensuring all financial transactions are up to date, accurate and processed in a timely using automation where ever possible, currently Xero and providing financial reports to the Directors.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Delivery of all financial operational functions (e.g. purchase & sales ledger; credit control) to ensure that the Company meets its financial obligations in accordance with legislation and regulation.
- Accurately maintain and process financial transactions / records using the Company’s accountancy software currently (Xero) including expenses, PAYE, invoices, VAT and tax.
- Pay supplier invoices and reconcile bank accounts and credit cards
- Carrying out credit control that respects the need to build good relationships with our clients and suppliers
- Produce monthly financial statements showing business income and expenditure; cash flow; profit and lost and balance sheet
- Liaise with the Company’s external Accountant regarding the timely production of the Annual report and Accounts.
- Balance sheet management to ensure the financial integrity of the accounts to an auditable standard including the provision of a robust cashflow forecast.
- Ensure all regulatory returns including VAT, PAYE and tax are made in a timely manner
- Prepare monthly payroll including calculating commissions
- Manage employee expense claims
- Management of the Company’s bank accounts.

**What you’ll need to be successful in this role**:

- Previous experience of delivering bookkeeping services is essential
- Ideally qualified to at least AAT level 3 or equivalent
- Ability to demonstrate high levels of attention to detail and accuracy
- A passion for working in a proactive way, being resilient and keen to continuously improve
- Ability to use your initiative to get things done and determine what needs doing
- A good team player capable of working building good working relationships with our entire team
- A polite and friendly manner
- Hard-working, self-motivated, and enthusiastic
- A positive & persistent attitude
- Excellent planning, organisation, and time management skills
- Ability to manage a busy workload
- Prepared to multi-tasking
- Ability to constantly prioritise according to demand
- Competent Computer skills including Microsoft products, CRM systems and accounting software
- Ideally, but not essential, previous knowledge of XERO
