Yardsperson/cleaner

**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Maintain a clean and organised yard by removing debris and ensuring proper storage of materials.
- Assist in loading and unloading materials from lorries, ensuring safe handling practices are followed.
- Operate yard equipment safely as required.
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure efficient workflow.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their needs while on-site.
- Follow all safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.

**Requirements**:

- Proficiency in English to facilitate clear communication with colleagues and customers.
- Previous experience in customer service is advantageous, demonstrating an ability to engage positively with clients.
- A valid driver's licence is preferred for operating company vehicles when necessary.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- A proactive attitude towards work, with a willingness to learn new skills as required.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £7.50-£11.60 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 24 per week
