Park Road Group are a well established Petrol Forecourt company based in the North East of England. We have 4 petrol stations in various locations around Tyneside and Wearside and we are currently recruiting for vacancies at our site in Newcastle. We are seeking to employ well motivated and responsible personnel with a proven retail background. Working in the Petrol Forecourt sector is challenging, busy and rewarding.

Successful applicants will possess the following personal skills or experience:

- Independence - You will be required to work alone when on shift with the support of a regional manager. This will include opening the site and locking up by yourself.
- Cash handling experience - You will be an experienced till operator and used to dealing with a variety of transaction styles including cash and credit cards.
- Customer Service - Your role is built upon providing excellent customer service. You must be polite and courteous whilst being confident around people requiring help and advice.
- Responsibility - Operating a Petrol Forecourt can be a challenging environment and you must take responsibility for the safety of customers and public using our sites. After training you will be capable of spotting hazards and reducing risk whilst you are on shift.
- Merchandising and cleanliness standards - You will help your manager ensure excellent standards of merchandising and cleanliness are maintained at all times. Your role will involve stock rotation / replenishment and working to a cleaning rota.
- Flexibility - You will be required to take full responsibility for your own shift pattern, however you will also be required to cover your colleagues shifts during illness and holiday.

Pay will be in accordance with National Minimum Wage. This will be a full time position.

Pay: From £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
