**CHAT CENTRAL PROJECT ASSISTANT**

**22 hours per week, - £30,000 per annum pro rata plus 7% pension (**(£17,837 actual salary for 22 hours)**

**(Fixed term post for 2.5 years)**

VAC has secured funding through the National Lottery Community Fund to deliver a project aimed at helping people in Coventry to overcome loneliness and isolation. We are looking to recruit a fun, compassionate and organised person to undertake the role of Project Assistant for our Chat Central Project.

The role will focus on supporting the Chat Central Engagement Officer to follow up referrals, maintain the client database, promote, monitor and evaluate the project and most importantly provide compassionate support to people experiencing loneliness and isolation.

You need to be a good all-rounder, able to juggle a busy workload, bring some zing and ideas to group sessions and be a good listener; helping people to build new social connections and self-esteem through participating in community activities and/or volunteering.
