**Position Summary**
An exciting opportunity has come available for a Wireless Engineer at Purdicom.
We are seeking someone who can provide an excellent customer experience both in a pre and post-sales environment. With a minimum of 3 years of experience, the selected individual will provide a wide range of value-add services to our customer base in orderto allow them to thrive.
**The principal duties will be**:
- Be competent at conducting wireless site surveys
- Provide customer-facing support, both pre and post-sales, to provide value add services.
- Provide post-sales support for existing product sets within wireless marketplace.
- Provide technical design consultancy to end-users and resellers in multiple verticals.
- Assisting customers maintain industry best practices and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate development activities with a range of stakeholders e.g. sales team, line manager, purchasing, and customers.
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure processes are lean and efficient.
- Conduct remote webinars, off-site demonstrations
**We are looking for the following skills and experience**:
- Knowledge of Wireless Design
- Knowledge of using Wireless Site Survey tools (preferably Ekahau)
- Knowledge of Wireless Networks
**Experience**:
- Minimum 3 year’s experience working within a wireless technical role.
- Demonstrate experience with wireless technology configuration, site survey and installation works.
- A passion for working with people and the ability to quickly build rapport.
- An ability to translate complex technical language to a non-technical customer base.
**Skills**:
- A team player with good interpersonal skills who can work under their own initiative.
- Ability to cope under pressure and prioritise work accordingly.
- Innovative thinker/problem solver with a strong critical thinking mind.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Full UK driving license and willingness to travel.

- Ability to document technical problems and resolutions accurately.
**Working Conditions**:
- Position requires occasional travel across the UK
- Must have a clean driving license and own car due to rural location.
