**About Us**
The Lockup Escape Rooms is an independent, immersive escape room business in Sheffield. Run by owner Liam (with his corgi sidekick Hovis), we create immersive experiences that challenge and entertain groups of friends, families, and colleagues. As demand grows, we’re looking for an extra team member to help deliver our games while we focus on building new ones.

**The Role**
We’re seeking a confident, enthusiastic Game Master to host and oversee escape room experiences. You’ll welcome and brief players, monitor their progress via CCTV, provide timely hints, and ensure everything runs smoothly.

Most shifts are on weekends, with more work available during busy periods (especially in the run-up to Christmas). The role is zero-hour, but you can expect regular weekly shifts if you want them. We respect your time—while last-minute availability means more opportunities, we’ll never demand hours you haven’t agreed to. This role is ideal for students or anyone looking for flexible, engaging part-time work. If you're a student, we are very interested in hearing about what you're currrently studying, where, and, how far into your studies you are currently.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Welcoming and briefing players
- Monitoring live games and delivering hints/clues
- Resetting and preparing rooms between sessions
- Delivering fun and memorable debriefs
- Maintaining props and puzzles to a high standard
- Light cleaning and general site duties

**What We’re Looking For**
- Friendly, approachable personality with strong communication skills
- Confident with public speaking and engaging groups
- Quick-thinking, calm, and reliable
- Available for evenings, weekends, and occasional weekdays
- Happy around a playful corgi
- Customer service, hospitality, or performance experience is a bonus (but not essential—we’ll train you)

Pay: From £13.00 per hour
