We are looking for an enthusiastic Careers Lead to join the team here at Parkwood E-ACT Academy to plan and implement a strategy for developing a careers programme for the school that meets all eight of the Gatsby benchmarks of good practice and prepares young people for the choices and transitions in education, training and employment.
This post requires a Level 6 Qualification
Key Accountabilities:
Leadership
- Advising senior leadership on policy, strategy and resources for CEIAG
- Reporting on CEIAG to senior leaders.
- Reviewing and evaluating CEIAG, including destinations data.
Management
- Planning schemes of work for careers education
- Briefing and supporting teachers of careers education
- Monitoring teaching and learning in careers education
Co-ordination
- Managing the provision of careers information
Details:
32 hours per week, 39 weeks per year
SCP 20-25 £21,581 - £24,356 (FTE: £28,371 - £32,020)
