Our Birmingham-based client is actively searching for an interim Commercial Finance Analyst to join their team immediately, with the potential of a permanent placement. Reporting directly to the Senior Finance Business Partner, you’ll be joining an award-winningcompany who specialise in luxury homeware apparel, and has maintained a concrete position in their market for over half a century.

As a Commercial Finance Analyst, you’ll be asked to measure and control the financial performance of the company for key channel areas. This will include duties such as the preparation and execution of monthly financial performance reviews; month end andaccounting of customer sales incentives; developing procedures and providing direction for the financial planning and annual budget processes. Not only will you be granted a great deal of autonomy and influence within the business, but you’ll also have theopportunity to work collaboratively with non-financial counterparts in a leadership capacity. As such, it is advantageous that you are both an effective communicator and also possess a strong business acumen.

Further duties of the Commercial Finance Analyst include developing decision support tools (e.g., volume scenario modelling), ensuring compliance with all company financial control standards and guiding channel teams to optimise P&L performance.

Ideally, you will:

- Have immediate availability, a Bachelor’s degree in finance or similar, and be part qualified in ACCA/CIMA.
- Be a diligent and driven individual, who demonstrates particular skill in communication, leadership and innovative problem-solving.
- Be experienced in working in a fast-paced environment, taking accountability for your own success and operating under strict deadlines.
- Consider yourself as advanced with Microsoft Excel with an interest in learning business modelling software.
