Job description

A long standing firm of Chartered Accountants in York are looking for a full time Receptionist/Secretary to join its team.

You will be experienced in Secretarial/PA duties, and will support the team with administrative assistance to the accountants. You will also be responsible for reception duties including dealing with clients and enquiries on the telephone and face-to-face. Supporting the Office Manager, your main duty will be to ensure the smooth running of our busy offices.

**Key responsibilities**
- Administrative support
- Communicate effectively with internal and external clients
- Resolve queries, escalating as necessary
- To schedule and prioritise allocated work every day
- Identify and suggest areas of improvement.
- Maintain and update confidential information whilst adhering to company security procedures
- Previous administration experience, excellent attention to detail
- Proven track record as a team player
- Accurate and timely delivery of tasks coupled with excellent organisational skills
- Strong customer service delivery and the ability to develop good working relationships with colleagues and clients, communicating at all levels
- Skilled in Microsoft Office including Excel
- Previous experience in a wide variety of secretarial duties

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 5pm, with one hour lunch break.

**Salary**: £19,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
