PMO - Program Management Officer, EU ATS ACES

Amazon’s EU ATS (Amazon Transportation Services) ACES (Amazon Customer Excellence System) PMO (Program Managament Office) team is seeking a highly skilled and motivated person as ATS ACES PMO (Program Management Officer) to support and manage all of the major program initiatives across the EU ATS network.

The role of EU ATS ACES PMO is a critical position and delivers huge impact both on the customer experience and on bottom line performance within the EU ATS ACES team.

You will play a critical role in conceptualizing and implementing strategy for capturing programs, categorizing the project types, which shape the future of our customers experience and the success of our overall business strategy. Filtering metrics and administrating information to easily understand and report the progress of all programs through their life cycle. This enables the Senior Management to see at a glance pulse on project health, ROI expectations, when additional support may be required to see a project through to completion.

Manage the administration of the PMO processes, which gathers and tracks information on the “Phase - Gate” process, allowing each project to be controlled effectively through the life cycle.

Work with ATS ACES PMO Team, Program Managers and SMEs on Operational Program Intake ideas, guiding and educating when required to ensure high standard are kept in the process. Ensure all stakeholders are involved in all projects when required, (HR, Financial Manager, Facilities Manager, Safety & Security Manager, IT Manager) on project inputs and the broader Operations network to attain Amazon’s Business Plan.

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for the overall ATS ACES program management health, system, risks awareness, and project coordination for the different program stages.
- Plan and Host business reviews for all projects through all the stages in the Project life cycle.
- Monitor adherence to governance models and communication cadence across virtual working teams, stakeholders and executive sponsors (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual).
- Ensure coordination with appropriate peer functions and leaders are factored into requirements gathering, planning, and execution of strategic programs.
- Track compliance against the program management framework for defining goals, managing work cadence, and measuring impact that allows for consistency and scale.
- Generate and prepare regular reports on progress and status for team and sponsors - report impact regularly to internal stakeholders.
- Constantly innovate and improve programs and program management mechanisms, suggesting new ideas and best practices for improving the business and customer engagement.
- Drive continuous process improvement and make our customer experience better than ever.

- Have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Have experience in leading large-scale projects
- Possess the ability to manage detail, identify blockers on behalf of the PMs if required.
- Thrive on change, inclined to operate with flexibility and commit the time required to get the job done. Exhibits sound business judgment, a proven ability to influence others, strong analytical skills, and a proven track record of taking ownership, leading data-driven analyses, and influencing results
