We are looking for a highly motivated and competent staff member with a relevant level of experience and education to join the East Neurodevelopmental Team. The team has a vacancy for a Band 4 Assistant Neurodevelopmental Practitioner to support the work of the service.

The team provides assessment and intervention for children and young people with / or suspected of having a Neurodevelopmental condition (Autism Spectrum Disorder / Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder etc). The role is varied and will include acting as a contact point for parents under the service or awaiting assessment, delivering group based interventions under supervision of the clinicians in the team, conducting school based observation, collecting initial information from parents / carers and schools and undertaking some individual work with children / young people and their families when necessary. Full training to undertake the many aspects of the role will be provided as part of an induction package.
