**Marden Lodge Primary School is seeking a skilled and passionate SEN Learning Support Assistant to join our dedicated and hardworking team on a 1 Year Fixed Term Contract.**
**This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to make a real difference in the lives of our pupils, supporting their individual needs and helping them to thrive in a nurturing and inclusive environment.**
**Your opportunity**
**What we are looking for**
- GCSE Grade C/4 or above in English and Maths (or equivalent)
- Level 2 or 3 NVQ Desirable but not essential
- Experience supporting children in education, particularly those with complex SEND needs
- Knowledge of positive behaviour management techniques
- Basic IT skills (advanced skills desirable)
- Ability to plan, prioritise, and follow instructions
- Clear communicator who can explain tasks and engage children effectively
- Skilled in maintaining high-quality records
- Able to support personal care, administer medication, or deliver therapy programmes
- Calm under pressure, flexible, and professional
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build appropriate relationships
- Committed to safeguarding and confidentiality
- Passionate about supporting children’s development and contributing to school life

**About Marden Lodge Primary School**
Our School sits within an established cluster of Primary schools, overseen by a Regional Director. Along with, our cluster includes the following other schools; Chestnut Park Primary School, Whyteleafe Primary School, Warlingham Village Primary School and Hillcroft Primary School.

**The Details**
**Hours**: 31.25 hrs per week, 38.6 weeks of the year 8.30am - 15:15pm Monday to Friday
**Salary**: GLF Associate 2 - Point 1 £22,918.66 to Point 16 £24,653 (dependent on experience)
**Actual Salary**:£16,939.72 to £18,221.61 (dependent on experience)
