**Overview**

**Duties**
The Associate Pastor will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:

- **Assist the Senior Pastor** in leading worship services, prayer meetings, and Bible studies.
- **Preach and teach** as scheduled, supporting doctrinal consistency and church growth.
- **Provide pastoral support and counselling** to members, youth, and families.
- **Coordinate ministry teams** (e.g., youth, music, outreach, or welfare ministries).
- **Support church administration**, record keeping, and volunteer coordination.
- **Participate in evangelism, community events, and charitable programmes.**:

- **Stand in for the Senior Pastor** during absences when delegated.
- Contribute to **training, discipleship, and leadership development** programmes.

**Skills**
- Strong public speaking abilities, with a talent for engaging diverse audiences during sermons and presentations.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to connect with congregation members and the wider community effectively.
- A passion for teaching, with experience in leading educational programmes or workshops related to faith and spirituality.

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Proven experience in ministry or church leadership (2+ years).
- Strong biblical foundation and evidence of pastoral calling.
- Theological or ministerial training desirable.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team under supervision.
