We have a rare opportunity for a highly-motivated and enthusiastic teaching assistant to further strengthen our caring and hard-working team.
The role would be to provide varying amounts of general classroom support, as well as 1:1 support for pupil(s) in receipt of high needs funding. Your responsibilities may include:
- Supporting pupils during lessons in English, Maths and across all areas of the curriculum
Leading 1:1 and group intervention programmes
Feeding back to the class teacher, maintaining records of progress and behaviour
Working with children to support any social, emotional, behavioural or medical needs
Fulfilling support outlined in EHCPs or Learning Plans
Liaising with parents and external professionals
