Aon Underwriting Managers (AUM) currently have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Underwriter W&I and Tax SPS to join our team.

**About the role**

As an Assistant Underwriter some of your duties will include;
- Undertaking the underwriting process for W&I and Tax SPS
- Ensuring that individual risks are bound promptly and in accordance with the delegated underwriting authority.
- Meeting agreed service standard the GBC Team and insurers to bind risks within agreed timescales and ensure that the relevant policies are accurate and issued within agreed timescales.
- Ensuring full compliance with the Delegated Authority from insurers.
- Building an excellent working relationship with the GBC Team.
- Building excellent working relationships with supporting insurers
- Participate in regular insurer meetings to review progress of the facility.

**About you**

As an Underwriter your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

- Experience in W&I and Tax Insurance product
- CII or partially CII qualified would be an advantage
- Team player / team-building ability
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Computer literacy
- primarily MS Word and Excel.
- Ability to analyse numerical data / spreadsheets is a fundamental requirement
