This family is responsible for creating everything from the initial concept to the final design of Survitec A&D products. They develop ideas for new products and prototypes, as well as evolving the design details of established ranges. They deeply understand the safety needs of Survitec customers and deliver innovation that captures the design strategy and brand values. They integrate innovative functional solutions with world-class creativity to support Survitec’s vision to become the most trusted provider of safety services

**Job Summary**

This role writes technical documentation for engineers and manuals for technical and non-technical customers and end-users. Creates documentation for a range of products, services and systems for target audiences with varying degrees of technical sophistication, that meet commercial, operational and regulatory requirements

**Duties and responsibilities**
- Supports the collection of business requirements using a variety of methods such as interviews, document analysis, and workflow analysis to express requirements clearly and succinctly
- Assigns short-term work schedules to workload to achieve expectations of a range of stakeholders and internal customers
- Creates, manages and utilises effectively a local document management system for an office or department
- Drafts and maintains technical and/or user documentation to a high standard, ensuring appropriate and effective use of language and on-time delivery. Creates appropriate backup files to ensure instant recovery if problems occur
- Supports data-driven analysis to identify opportunities for improvement
- Reviews non-compliance issues and finds solutions to ad hoc problems with written product materials, requiring detailed work with design engineers, internal customers and, potentially, external customers
