**Farming and Livestock Executive.**
We are currently recruiting for a farming and livestock executive on behalf of our well-established client based in Shrewsbury who specialise in insurance broking.
As part of your role, you will be overseeing the Farm and Combined business unit and will be supervising, managing, and coaching the team along with assisting in the development of the account and supporting the Managing Director. Your duties will include overseeingand maintaining the current Farm Accounts as well as attending livestock sales market days to represent the company in discussions with London Market Insurers and aiding on agricultural claims to members of the team as required whilst liaising with insurersand loss adjusters. It will also be part of your role to negotiate and present to insures to secure the most appropriate cover for the client, closing sales, securing cross selling business and referrals and the ability to assess risks for all customers.
It will be up to you to make sure all business activity complies with FCA regulations by keeping all electronic and paper files up to date, handling any complaints in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements, maintaining a high level ofcustomer service, developing and maintain a professional working relationship with all clients and to conduct all aspects of account handling for clients including new business, technical preparation, renewals, mid-term adjustments and claims.

- Knowledge of relevant policies including current market conditions.
- Knowledge Of all company specific procedures.
- Knowledge Of FCA rules and guidelines relating to Commercial and/or Private Customers.
- Willingness to continue to develop knowledge of insurance and related issues through formal and informal learning, both internal to the firm, and externally.
- 3-5+ years’ experience working in an insurance environment

- SSP/Acturis
- Accurate data input skills
- Company operating system
- MS Word
- MS Outlook
- Excel

**Hours**:9:00 - 17:00 (with 1 hour for lunch)
**Salary**:£25,000 - £35,000 dependant on experience.
**Location**:Shrewsbury.
