We’re looking for a passionate and committed Youth Worker to join our charity team and make a real difference in the lives of young people. Reporting to the Senior Youth Work Manager, you’ll play a key role in delivering a diverse range of engaging, high-quality activities and sessions that inspire, support, and empower young people in our community.

You’ll work closely with other members of the youth team to create a safe, inclusive, and fun environment, where young people can build confidence, learn new skills, and reach their full potential. We actively encourage creativity, so you’ll have the opportunity to bring your own ideas to life through the programmes and projects you help deliver.

**Working Hours** - This role involves a range of scheduled activities with fixed hours across Monday to Friday, including daytime and evening sessions, as well as rota’d Saturdays. While hours are generally consistent, some flexibility may occasionally be required to support holiday cover, special events, or evolving programme and charity needs.

**Experience and Qualifications**- We’re looking for someone with prior experience working with young people in a youth work or similar setting. A relevant qualification in youth work or a related field is desirable, though we also value hands-on experience, creativity, and a genuine passion for supporting young people.

**Responsibilities**:

- Engage with young people in various settings to provide guidance and support.
- Mentor and empower young people to develop their skills and confidence.
- Facilitate educational and recreational activities to promote personal growth.
- Collaborate with parents, educators, and community organisations to enhance youth programs.
- Address the specific needs of youth.
- Monitor and evaluate the progress of youth to ensure effective outcomes.
- Be an advocate for the charity and all that we do.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £12.60 per hour

Expected hours: 10 per week
