Butler Rose are currently supporting our Watford based Client who are a recognised brand and respected employer to the area with the recruitment of a Purchase Ledger Clerk.

Working within a team, this role will suit those who bring with them previous experience of working within Accounts Payable, with the salary on offer depending on that level of experience.

Duties will include:

- Matching, batching and coding of invoices
- Obtaining authorisation for particular payments to be made
- Liaising with Customers and internal managers to resolve any queries that arise around invoices
- Collating and entering supplier payment details
- Monthly reconciliation of the purchase ledger to supplier statements
- Staff expenses and reconciling company credit card expenditure
- Provide support to the Finance Manager with any other ad hoc requirements

Whether you have a little or a lot of experience within Accounts Payable, this organisation can adapt the team to the capabilities of the incoming member of staff and as stated previously, the salary on offer will be dependent on the level of experience.

You will be able to work within a team setting, have strong system skills to include the use of large ERP systems and have a good understanding around Excel.
