An exciting and innovative drug discovery biotech requires an ambitious Financial Analyst. Based in Oxford, you will report the Finance Director and support the ongoing growth of the business. The company has an exciting portfolio that target cancer’s vulnerabilitiesand dependencies.

The business is led by the dynamic management team, this is an extremely exciting time to be joining the business. The company is fast paced and agile with a strong belief that teamwork is how we can deliver successful medicines. The company is well supportedby blue chip investors, which include a top ten pharmaceutical company, and has an experienced Board of Directors and management team.

As Financial Analyst, you will report directly into the Finance Director with few boundaries to progression given the size of the team. You will take on increasing responsibilities within finance, you will quickly progress to managing the whole month endprocess, creation of management accounts and budgets.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Performing the month end process;
- Preparing the management accounts;
- Updating and preparing forecasts and budgets;
- Preparation of statutory accounts;
- Adhoc project work to assist FD.

You will be a recently qualified accountant, ideally with an interest in the life sciences sector.

You will be adaptable, agile and curious, with the ability to assist the FD in various wide remits. The role will require good communication skills and a team-player mindset as there is likely to be significant interactions with the whole team from seniorto junior levels and external stakeholders.
