**Working Pattern: 37 hrs per week - Monday to Friday**

**Location: West Bridgford, Nottingham**

Via is currently looking for a Drainage Coordinator to join our Assets and Developments Team based at our Trent Bridge House Office in West Bridgford.

You will assist with the management of the highway drainage asset across the county, including interactions with stakeholders and third-party utility providers, develop and coordinate programmes of work to ensure a high standard of infrastructure is developed and maintained.

**The Job**

Key areas of responsibility will include:
- Assist with the development and delivery of strategies for managing and recording the highway drainage asset, helping with the development and progression of innovative technical drainage solutions
- To coordinate the accurate recording of drainage asset data and to assist with the surveying and assessment of the drainage asset
- Support the delivery of the annual Structural Drainage Programme, including the management of minor schemes
- Be a key point of contact for drainage issues, including providing technical advice to stakeholders,
- Effective monitoring and reporting of budgets associated with the drainage asset to facilitate the efficient delivery of countywide maintenance and improvement activities.
- To coordinate the management of Drainage Inspections and Jobs within the Alloy Asset Management System.
- Manage and support Health, Safety and Environmental management across the service, ensuring that Health and Safety legislation, Policy and best practice are fully adhered to.
- Help to identify new business opportunities for the company with external and internal stakeholders.

**The Person**

Mainly you will be excited to be a vital part of our Asset and Developments Team, but there are just a few other things we’d like from you:
- Work experience in a highway or civil engineering related field with evidence of continuous professional development and industry related knowledge in the highway environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability of working collaboratively with stakeholders.
- Ability to contribute to the development of policies and procedures in line with statutory regulations and local initiatives.
- The ability to motivate teams in challenging and changing environments to achieve required outcomes.
