We are looking for talented, motivated and creative Product Designers to join our Buckinghamshire studio where we can offer the opportunity for you to design & manufacture high-end bespoke and small batch light fittings to be used on some of the most exclusive high-end residential and premium lifestyle projects around the world. Our village based and growing studio is a place to expand your skills, express your ideas and develop your career.

Working alongside a small but highly experienced team you will have a strong ability to take ideas from our internal scheme designers or clients and create a functional and beautiful product light fitting. You should feel comfortable creating prototypes using our workshop and 3D printer and communicating with internal teams in order to deliver wholesome solutions. You should also have an ability to follow budget constraints and demonstrate some pieces of previous works through a portfolio although this may be in any industry sector.

We are searching for an individual who may or may not have experience in the lighting industry but who is keen to learn. You will demonstrate proficiency in the necessary software packages required and have a can-do attitude to develop your skills through hands-on learning in the workshop and even onsite.

**Fundamental Requirements**:

- Computer literate, able to operate Microsoft core software (Outlook, Word, etc).
- Proficiency in SolidWorks 3D (and basic operation of AutoCAD 2D).
- Demonstrate organisational & personal time management skills.
- Full UK driving license is preferred due to some necessary travel & office location.

**Preferable Skills & Qualifications**:

- Degree in Product Design or related field (alternative higher education qualifications may be considered).
- Demonstrable flare for producing professional documents & visual presentation.
- Knowledge of typical manufacturing processes particularly in small batch/ one-off production.
- Competence in basic electrical wiring components.
- Technical/practical mind with knowledge of basic workshop tools.
