Trainee Crêpier at La Crêperie de Hampstead

**Job Summary**
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Trainee Crêpier to join our vibrant team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to develop their culinary skills in a fast-paced environment. As a Trainee Crêpier, you will learn the art of creating delicious crêpes while providing exceptional customer service. You will work closely with experienced chefs, gaining hands-on experience and knowledge in crêpe preparation and presentation.
**Duties**:
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of crêpes according to established recipes and standards.
- Learn to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Engage with customers to take orders, provide recommendations, and upsell menu items.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and service areas.
- Support inventory management through data entry and stock checks.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations during service hours.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times.
**Qualifications**:
- Proficiency in English; bilingual or multilingual abilities, particularly in French, are highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette for customer interactions.
- Ability to analyse customer preferences and adapt recommendations accordingly.
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role is an advantage but not essential; a willingness to learn is key.
- Basic understanding of data entry processes is beneficial.
- A passion for food and a desire to develop culinary skills in a supportive environment.

Pay: £12.50-£13.50 per hour
